Accessibility & Open Access Statement
The journal’s website will follow current web accessibility standards. Specifically, it will comply with W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1): using semantic HTML, providing alt text for images, and ensuring contrast and navigation aids for users with disabilities.
An Open Access Statement will be prominently displayed, affirming that all content is freely available under CC BY terms and that no login or subscription is required to read or download articles. This reflects DOAJ’s open access definition and the CC BY license information required. The statement will also clarify that authors retain copyright and grant a CC BY license (no embargo, immediate OA).
Article Templates and Submission Checklists

- Author Consent and Conflict Form: Authors will complete a form (during submission) affirming: originality of work, consent of all authors, disclosures of funding and conflicts, and agreement to CC BY license. A template checklist will list required statements (ethics approval if needed, funders, COI, data availability, etc.).
- Reviewer Report Template: A guideline template will be available to reviewers, including sections for (a) Summary of research question, (b) Major strengths, (c) Major concerns (methodology, logic, ethics), (d) Minor comments (style, typos), and (e) Recommendation (Accept, Revise, Reject). This standardized report ensures all key aspects are evaluated.
- Editorial Decision Letters: Standard letter templates will be used by editors to communicate decisions. For example:
- Revision Invitation: “Dear Author, Your manuscript titled ‘…’ has been reviewed. Reviewers found it [brief summary]. The paper has merit but requires the following revisions before acceptance: [list key issues]. Please submit your revised manuscript by [date] along with a response letter detailing how you addressed each point.”
- Rejection Letter: “Dear Author, We regret to inform you that your manuscript cannot be accepted for publication because [brief reasons]. We appreciate your interest in the journal and encourage you to consider these comments for submission elsewhere.”
- Submission Checklist: The website will provide a final checklist to help authors prepare submissions, for example:
- Title page with all author details (names, affiliations, ORCIDs, correspondence info).
- Abstract (150–250 words) and 3–6 keywords.
- Main text sections (introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusions).
- Figures and tables properly captioned and cited in text.
- References formatted per journal style.
- All supplementary files included and cited.
- Ethics statement or IRB approval (if applicable) provided.
- Funding sources and conflicts disclosed.
- Data Availability Statement completed.
- Cover letter attached.
- Manuscript spell-checked and compliance with formatting guidelines.
Each item will be briefly explained in the checklist. This helps authors catch common omissions and ensures compliance with journal policies.
These templates and checklists will be available on the website (e.g. under For Authors) for download, providing practical guidance and consistency in submissions.
